Exciting news!

Ryan Lee has invited me to present at his DotComXpo event on October 12 in Stamford, CT…

… and I’d love to meet with YOU beforehand, talk about your business, craft a perfect sales hook for you and then brag about you and your business during my presentation on Friday morning.

AND… not only will this NOT cost you anything extra, but, if you’re interested, I’ve arranged a $100 discount on tickets to the event.

Here’s what this is all about…

Ryan invited me to speak at this event soon after I presented at this year’s SAM event (which he hosts with Chris Farrell and Andrew Lock).

Lock, Rogers, Lee and Farrell

At SAM I taught the audience to use my KLT (Know, Like and Trust) Hook formula to create their perfect 60-Second Sales Hook to use on landing pages, emails, sales videos and in networking situation (perfect answer to the complicated “what do you do” question).

For this event, I’m digging much deeper into the importance of story in presenting yourself and your products to an too crowded and distracted market.

See, because we all know people have the attention spans of over-caffeinated hamsters these days, we focus on cramming as much info into a few seconds as possible.

That’s a big mistake.

What works much better is to get just the right information into a few seconds so that you can quickly make a connection and inspire your prospect to continue the conversation with you.

I need your help?

I’ll be using some live examples of exactly how to craft and present a 60-Second Sales Hook during my presentation…

… and I’d love for one of them to be yours.

I’ll be choosing up to three business owners that reply to this invitation and helping them craft their KLT Hook sales messages.

Then, I will feature those hooks as “live examples” during my presentation on Friday morning.

This means that in addition to receiving a custom, high-value (Clients pay me $500 an hour to consult by phone) sales message that will surely boost your sales (both immediately and long-term)…

… but you and your biz will also be featured during my presentation in front of hundreds of the biggest players in marketing today.

The value of the one-on-one consult alone more than covers the discounted price of admission to Ryan’s DotComXpo…

… so, this is a pretty sweet deal. (A classic win-win scenario!)

If you feel my offer to create your custom KLT Sales hook and feature your business in my presentation to the industry’s top marketers is something that can help you…

All you  have to do is reply to the email address contact{at}theconversionkings.com with the subject line: “Yes, I’m interested”… and a few sentences about your business.

I’ll be choosing the people I feel I can help the most.

In a nutshell…

- You’ll get on call with me, one-on-one, before DotComXpo and together we’ll craft the perfect 60-Second Sales Hook for your business. ($500+ value)

- You’ll be featured in my presentation to the biggest players in the industry (truly priceless networking opportunity)

- You’ll receive $100 off the ticket price to DCX

I’m only able to choose three people for this special offer, to apply simply respond to contact{at}theconversionkings.com with your interest and a few sentences about your business.

I’ll be contacting the winners by Monday Sept 24 so you have plenty of time to plan your trip and for us to create your perfect sales hook together.

I hope to meet you soon!

Kevin

P.S. If for any (insane) reason you’re not interested in the consultation but still plan to attent the event, you can still take advantage of the $100 discount by clicking here and using the code ”KEVIN” to get your $100 discount.

How to write eyeball-grabbing emails

by theconversionkings on August 14, 2012

Just how much persuasion can you pack into an eight paragraph email?

A client I’m consulting sent me an email from super-blogger Derek Halpern recently and asked me why she “couldn’t resist reading it and clicking through.”

It helps that Derek is a veteran expert and she anticipates the consistently awesome content on his blog, Social Triggers… but I made this little graphic for her to point out some of the persuasion tactics in his short message that anyone can use to write irresistible emails…

Do you see anything that I didn’t point out? Whose emails can you not resist
reading?

Fire away in the comments section…

Kevin

P.S. I had the pleasure of meeting Derek in NY last weekend. I mentioned the email,
he said it got an almost 60% open rate and 20% CTR. That’s a dude we all need to
study closely.

SAM Event 2012 – Two-Minute Video Review

April 19, 2012

Please tell me if you would find these short videos a useful way to learn about things I think you would like knowing about. I enjoy making them, but they are deceptively time-consuming, so I want to be sure they’re resonating with you. Thanks a lot for your time! Kevin P.S. At the event I [...]

Freakin’ brilliant, GoDaddy!

How To Talk To Your Prospects (Not AT Them)

“You talkin’ to me? Then who the hell else are you talking… you talking to me? Well I’m the only one here.” – Travis Bickle, Taxi Driver (1976) Copywriting legend John Caples famously said the key to writing an effective ad was to enter the conversation already taking place inside your prospect’s head. But, when [...]

Why Isn’t Allen Making Any Money?

December 5, 2011

Listen to this blog post: A guy I run into occasionally, let’s call him “Allen”, asked me last week… “What kind of work is it you do?” I’d heard he’d been out of work for a while. He had the look of a guy searching, frustrated, wondering how many people he encounters in a day [...]
